Rooster's Run is a "ghost kitchen" operating out of Willie's Icehouse. It's a delivery-only place serving chicken sandwiches, tenders and wings. The only side is fries. We got 10 chicken wings with Backyard BBQ and Tangy Honey Garlic sauce, and a chicken sandwich with ranch sauce, two sides of fries and drinks.
The sauces are shown on the website as though they are dipping sauces, but our wings came pre-sauced. I could tell the difference between the sauces, but only just. Most of the wings were the two-bone portion, rather than the drumettes. The texture was decent, skin just slightly chewy but fine, but the flavor was not distinct. The sandwich had a decent spice kick but that's about it, not much other flavor. The fries were specifically disappointing. On the menu they are described as "seasoned fries". When I think of seasoned fries I think of the ones you get at Chili's, or Red Robin, or Wing Stop. These were just ordinary lightly salted fries, which suffered in the ride in the bag as fries always do. The drinks were fine.
With tip and tax the meals came out to over $20 apiece, and it's just not worth it for the quality. Wing Stop, Big City Wings, and several others do wings better.
